Sleep Practitioner

Our specialist Sleep Practitioner can provide families with help and support with infant and child sleep concerns.

Sleep deprivation can affect children in different ways to adults. This is why we offer a dedicated paediatric service to help children and young people struggling to get a good night's sleep on a regular basis.

Good sleep is vital for healthy growth and development in infants and children. Those who develop sleep problems are prone to mood disorders, growth delays, behavioural issues and learning problems.

Getting enough sleep is as essential for parents too. Lack of sleep can affect carers and lead to detrimental impacts on their own physical, emotional, and mental health.

You can free sleep eBooks for children and adults available to download here.

Our in-house expert can diagnose and treat or manage all sleep issues, including psychological and behavioural problems related to sleep. Full details are outlined in the brochure to download below.

Eating & Feeding Service

This service can be offered in two different ways:

The first is working with our SOS-trained speech and Language Therapist, Nicky Mearing. This may be at home or at clinic. Nicky is able to provide an initial assessment and then offer sessions to support you and your child around eating and feeding.

Secondly, we can offer a detailed assessment and supporting sessions with both SOS-trained Speech and Language Therapist, Nicky Mearing and also one of our OT team who are experienced with eating and feeding difficulties.

Full details for both ways are outlined in the service brochure available to download using the link below.

Please note that in order to be able to visit home and support a family to the standard we would like, we are currently only able to offer the eating and feeding service to families living in the BCP area.
